To log your phone calls when you use Phone Dialer, enable Phone Dialer's log feature by using the appropriate method:

Windows 95

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Phone Dialer.



2. Click Tools, and then click Show Log.



3. In the Call Log box, click Log and then click Options.



4. Click the Incoming check box and Outgoing Call check box to select them, and then click OK.



5. Make a call using Phone Dialer.



6. After you establish the connection, click Talk on the Call Status box.
   
   NOTE: The call must connect successfully for Phone Dialer to log the call.

Windows 98

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to Communications, and then click Phone Dialer.



2. Perform steps 2-6 in the Windows 95 section listed earlier in this article.
   
   Note that you may need to move one or more windows to view the Call Status box.
