ICS Client Starts Wrong Web Site When Accepting Chat RequestID: Q231709
|
When Yahoo! Pager on an external node initiates a chat request to Yahoo! Pager on an Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) client, the client, when accepting the chat request, starts a completely unrelated Web site instead of a chat room.
This issue occurs because the client does not pick up the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) containing the Chatroom location, and is given an incorrect URI.
To work around this issue, disable the ICS host:
The third-party products discussed here are manufactured by vendors

The Client or the Host can initiate a request for chat to an external node,
and the Host can receive a request from an external node. This issue only occurs when the client accepts a chat request from an external node.
