Maintenance Wizard Does Not Prompt to Convert Drive to FAT32ID: Q187288
|
When you run the Windows 98 Maintenance Wizard tool, you may not be prompted to convert your hard disk or disks to the file allocation table 32 (Fat32) file system.
This behavior can occur if a compressed volume file is present on any logical drive in your computer. If a compressed volume file is present on any logical drive in your computer, Windows 98 does not prompt you to convert your hard disk or disks to the Fat32 file system.
This behavior is by design, and does not affect the functionality of the Microsoft Drive Converter (FAT 32) tool.
