Mapped Network Drives Disabled After Windows 98 UpgradeID: Q191063

After you upgrade Microsoft Window 3.x to Windows 98, some of your mapped network drives may be unavailable. They may appear in My Computer with an "X" indicating they are disabled.
This behavior can occur if the Internetwork Packet Exchange/Sequenced
Packet Exchange (IPX/SPX) protocol was the only protocol installed in
Windows 3.x when you upgraded to Windows 98.
To resolve this issue, disconnect and then reconnect the network drive. To
do so, follow these steps:
