Monitor Is Not Powered Off When Computer Is SuspendedID: Q189748
|
When you use the Suspend command on the Shut Down menu, the primary monitor may not be powered off, and a flashing cursor may appear in the upper-left corner of the monitor.
This behavior can be caused by an incorrect Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) setting that controls power management for the display adapter.
To resolve this issue, you may need to make changes to settings stored
in the computer's BIOS. For information about changing settings in your
computer's BIOS, please consult the computer's documentation or
manufacturer.
