NEC Versa 6030-Series Laptop CardBus Controller Does Not Work

SYMPTOMS

When you run Windows 98 on a NEC Versa 6030-series laptop computer, the TI 1130 CardBus controller may not work.


CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the computer contains BIOS revision 1.18.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, obtain an updated version of your computer's BIOS. To do so, contact the manufacturer of your computer.

NEC Versa 6030-series laptop computers may have BIOS revision 1.18 or 2.x.
