Problem Creating Dial-Up Networking Shortcut

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you create a Dial-Up Networking connection, right-click the connection, and then click Create Shortcut, you receive the following error message:

Windows cannot create a shortcut here.
Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?

If you click Yes, the shortcut is placed on the desktop. If you click No, the shortcut is not created.


STATUS

This behavior is by design.
