Problems Opening .xif Files in Imaging for WindowsID: Q196190

When you use Imaging for Windows to open a color .xif file, the image may be displayed in black and white or grayscale, or may not be displayed at all.
To work around this problem, open the .xif file using a different image
viewing program.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Imaging for Windows.
Xerox Corporation developed the eXtended Image File Format (XIFF), which is an extension of the Tagged Image File Format (TIFF).
