Problems with Toshiba Infinia DVD/TV Tuner Under Windows 98

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade your Toshiba Infinia 72<xx> laptop computer to Windows 98, an exclamation point in a yellow circle may be displayed next to the DVD/TV Tuner device in Device Manager, and your DVD/TV Tuner device may not work correctly or at all.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if your computer is configured to use the Toshiba TV/FM version 2.13B2 device driver. This driver is not totally compatible with Windows 98.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Toshiba to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.
