Problems with Two Sony DV Cameras AttachedID: Q230791
|
If you have two Sony DV camcorders connected to the 1394 ports on a Windows 98-based computer, you may receive error messages on a blue screen. The error messages may occur if one of the cameras is powered off while the other is still on. The computer may also stop responding (hang) after many reads and writes between the camcorder and the computer.
A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Windows 98 service pack
that contains this fix.
