Running WebTV for Windows in a Window Only Displays Title Bar

SYMPTOMS

When you press the F6 key to run WebTV for Windows in a window, only the WebTV for Windows title bar may be displayed.


CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you left WebTV for Windows minimized the last time you quit WebTV for Windows or shut down Windows 98.


RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, drag the bottom edge of the title bar toward the bottom of your screen. The next time you quit WebTV for Windows or shut down Windows 98, make sure that WebTV for Windows is not minimized.


MORE INFORMATION

WebTV for Windows does not properly store window size and location when it is minimized.
