Screen Becomes Distorted When Changing Resolution with NEC 4FGID: Q187622
|
If you are using an NEC 4FG monitor and you change the display resolution to 1280x1024 pixels or higher, your screen may become distorted.
This behavior can occur if you are using a video adapter that defaults to a refresh rate of 60Hz.
To resolve this behavior, optimize the refresh rate of your video adapter
before you attempt change the display resolution. To do so, follow these steps:
Some video adapters, such as the Diamond Stealth 64 Video 2001 and S3 Trio
64V+ video adapters, default to a refresh rate of 60Hz. NEC 4FG monitors
can only support refresh rates of less than 60Hz at a resolution of
1280x1024 or higher.
