Taskbar is Not Visible in Windows

SYMPTOMS
When you run Windows, the taskbar is not visible on the screen.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you have moved or resized the taskbar so that
it is too small or is located in a position that is not visible.
RESOLUTION
To make the taskbar visible again, use either of the following methods:
Method 1
Resize the taskbar. To do so, follow these steps:
- Press CTRL+ESC to select the taskbar and display the Start menu.
- Press the ESC key. The Start menu disappears, but the taskbar is
still selected.
- Press ALT+SPACEBAR, and then click Size.
- Resize the taskbar using the mouse or the ARROW keys.
Method 2
Restart the computer in Safe mode. Restarting the computer in Safe mode
restores the taskbar to its default location. To restart your computer in
Safe mode, follow these steps:
Windows 95
Restart your computer. When you see the "Starting Windows 95" message,
press the F8 key, and then choose Safe Mode from the Startup menu.
Windows 98
Restart your computer, press and hold down the CTRL key after your
computer completes the Power On Self Test (POST), and then choose
Safe Mode from the Startup menu. For more information about Windows 98
