Unable to Use Novell NetWare Network ResourcesID: Q196302

When you try to log on to a Novell NetWare version 4.01-based server, you
may receive the following error message:
NetWare Security Message
The system could not log you into the network.
Make sure your name and connection information is correct, then type your password again.
This issue can occur if you uninstall the Novell NetWare Workstation Shell 4.0 (VLM) while Windows was running in safe mode, and then reinstall it while Windows is running in normal mode.
To resolve this issue, edit some of your system files. To do so, use the
following steps:

rem c:\nwclient\<network card driver>.com
rem c:\nwclient\ipxodi.com
rem c:\nwclient\vlm.exe
c:\nwclient\lsl.com
