The information in this article applies to:
- Windows 95 - Windows NT, version 4.0
If you are replacing NetMeeting's UI, as illustrated in the NetMeeting SDK sample called NMUI, NetMeeting's UI would still re-appear under certain circumstance, even though you had replaced it. The original NetMeeting UI reappears as the result of any Windows change that causes a WM_WININICHANGE message, such as changing the Taskbar's Auto Hide setting through the Taskbar's Properties Sheet.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This bug has been corrected in NetMeeting, version 2.1.
NOTE: This article documents the resolution of a NetMeeting 2.1 problem that existed before the release of Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1, which fixed the problem.
