The information in this article applies to:
When a macro is defined with the label of ALT+<numeric key>, an "Invalid Key Label - ALT+<numeric value>" error message will appear.
RESOLUTION
A resolution to this problem has not yet been determined.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro 2.6 for Windows and FoxPro 2.6 for MS-DOS. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
This problem does not occur in FoxPro 2.5a or 2.5b.
1. Press SHIFT+F10.
2. In the Macro Key Definition dialog box, specify ALT+1, and then choose
OK.
3. Press any key to represent the macro's body.
4. Press SHIFT+F10 to stop recording, and then choose OK.
5. Press ALT+1 to verify that the macro works.
6. In FoxPro for Windows, choose Macros from the Program menu. In FoxPro
for MS-DOS, choose Macros from the System menu.
7. Double-click the macro defined as ALT+1.
8. Choose OK in the Macro Edit dialog box.
You will receive the following error message:
Invalid key label - ALT+1
