MORE INFORMATION
Steps to Reproduce Behavior
- In the Database window, create several objects, maybe five, such as
forms, queries, and macros.
- Minimize all the objects to icons.
- Randomly place the icons around the screen. Make sure that a couple of
the icons are placed off the Microsoft Access client area. You can do
this by dragging the icon as far right as possible. When the icon is
touching the window's border, a horizontal scroll bar will appear. Move
the scroll box as far to the right as possible. Repeat this process
until you can move the scroll box back to the left and no longer see
the moved icon.
- On the Windows menu, click Arrange Icons.
- Double-click one of the icons.
- The object you double-clicked in step 5 should open. Now minimize it.
Note that the icon is not in the same place as before step 5. If you do
this with each icon, each will end up moving.
If you do a second Arrange Icons after step 6, the icons move to the
correct location. Arranging icons on Microsoft Access windows with
horizontal or vertical scroll bars displays this behavior.
