Setting PRINT to a file, setting PRINT ON, and then setting PRINT OFF creates a file with a size of 0 bytes.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro versions 2.5, 2.5a, 2.5b, and 2.6 for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
The expected behavior is for no file to be created.
In the Command window, type the following:
SET PRINT TO test.txt
SET PRINT ON
SET PRINT OFF
SET PRINT TO
Note the presence of a TEST.TXT file with a size of 0 bytes.
