The information in this article applies to:
If the Windows Text setting in the Windows Control Panel is set to gray, some components of the wizards are not visible.
These components include screen text, radio buttons, and parts of some bitmaps.
NOTE: Text in a screen created by the Screen Wizard is not visible either.
The background color of the wizards is also gray, making it impossible to see the gray text.
Using the Color icon in Windows Control Panel, change the Windows Text setting to a color other than gray.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro version 2.6 for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
1. From the Main group in Program Manager, run Control Panel.
2. Double-click the Color icon.
3. Choose Color Palette.
4. Under Screen Element, select Window Text.
5. Under Basic Colors, select the gray color box. (The gray box is in the
sixth column of the bottom row.) Choose OK.
6. Start FoxPro.
7. From the Run menu, choose Wizard.
8. Select a wizard.
Note that the screen text and some radio buttons and parts of some bitmaps in the wizard are not visible.
