DOCERR: Field Sub-Record Table Header Record Bytes Incorrect

ID: Q124671

The information in this article applies to:

SUMMARY

Page 4-21 in the Update manual shows bytes 18-32 as reserved bytes for the field subrecord. However, if the whole field subrecord is to take 32 bytes, the reserved section should end at byte 31 instead of 32.

MORE INFORMATION

Bytes 18-32 are stated as reserved bytes in the field subrecord. However, the table header record starts at byte 0 so an ending byte of 32 would make the table header record 33 bytes long instead of 32 bytes long. The document should be changed to say Bytes 17-31 are reserved bytes in the field subrecord. Each field subrecord starts at Byte 32 X N, where N is the number of the field entry, as shown on the table on page 4-20.
