SYMPTOMS

The Database menu pad does not appear disabled (grayed out) in a READ MODAL.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro 2.5 for Windows. This problem was corrected in FoxPro 2.5a for Windows.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

1. In the Menu Builder, create a quick menu.

2. Insert the following command in the CLEANUP code snippet:

      READ MODAL VALID .T.

3. Generate the code, and run the .MPR file.

When the .MPR file is executed, note that although the Database menu pad is not dimmed, it is still disabled until it is clicked on and off again.
