FIX: MODIFY MEMO Places Memo Field in Wrong Work Area

SYMPTOMS

In FoxPro version 2.0, when MODIFY MEMO is used to edit a memo field that is not in the current work area, it places the memo field into the wrong work area.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS. To work around this problem, specify the alias for the database in the MODIFY MEMO command.

 This problem was corrected in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS

released September 26, 1991.
