ACC: Bold Font Style Not Exported Using Analyze It w/MS ExcelID: Q165050
|
Moderate: Requires basic macro, coding, and interoperability skills.
If you format data in a table with a bold font style, and you then export
the table from Microsoft Access 7.0 or 97 to Microsoft Excel 7.0 or 97
by using the "Analyze It with MS Excel" command, the bold font style is
replaced by a regular font style.
If you export the same table to Microsoft Word 7.0 or 97, the bold font
style is not changed.
Most formatting, such as regular and italic font styles and colors, is preserved when you export data to Microsoft Excel by using the "Analyze It with MS Excel" command. However, bold font styles are not preserved.
To ensure that the data that you export to Microsoft Excel is displayed in a bold font style, you must format the data after it is exported.
For more information on the "Analyze It with MS Excel command, search the Help Index for "OfficeLinks," and then view "Load the output of a datasheet, form, or report into Microsoft Excel," or ask the Microsoft Access 97 Office Assistant.
