In early (prior to 9/26/91) releases of FoxPro 2.0 for MS-DOS, the Summary Band option under the Report Summary section of the report incorrectly remains selected if the REPORT FORM <file> SUMMARY PREVIEW command is issued when the report definition window is open.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in releases dated prior to September 26, 1991, of Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS. This problem was corrected in the Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS release dated September 26, 1991.
When a report form is open, the Report menu contains a Title/Summary command. Choosing this command presents you with a dialog box window that contains check boxes for the Report Summary options. The Summary Band option may or may not be selected.
The command REPORT FORM <file> produces a report from a report-definition file that has been generated by the CREATE/MODIFY REPORT command. The optional clause SUMMARY will suppress detail line printing, producing a report with only subtotals and totals defined in the group and report footer band(s). The optional clause PREVIEW sends the output to the screen, not the printer.
