Even though you do not have the option to specify underline as a font characteristic in the Report Writer, you can add this characteristic as follows:

1. To add the underline characteristic to an object in a report, you must

   open the report file as a table. To do this, issue the following command
   in the Command window:

      USE myreport.frx

2. Change the contents of the FONTSTYLE field to represent the style you
   want to use for that particular object. To underline the object, add 4
   to the value of FONTSTYLE.

   NOTE: FONTSTYLE is an integer value based on a simple bitmask, as
   follows:

      Binary      Decimal      Appearance
      -------------------------------------
      0000     =     0     =     Plain
      0001     =     1     =     Bold
      0010     =     2     =     Italic
      0100     =     4     =     Underline

   Therefore, if FONTSTYLE = 3, the font will be bold italic. To make the
   font bold italic underline, add 4 to 3 for a value of 7.
