To direct the ouput of a FoxPro query within the Relational Query By Example (RQBE) tool to an ASCII text file, do the following:

1. Set up your query within the RQBE window.

2. From the Output box, select Report/Label.

3. Select the Options check box.

4. In the RQBE Display Options dialog box, select the Screen Display radio

   button.

5. Under Output Destinations, select the To File check box.

6. Type a name for your file (for example, ASCII.TXT).

7. Choose OK twice, then choose the Do Query button to create your file.

To see the code generated by these settings, choose the See SQL button. You can copy and paste this code into a program. It will look something like:

   SELECT <fields> from <FoxPro table> to FILE <ASCII filename><![CDATA[
