The following error message occurs at link time in Microsoft C/C++ version 7.0 or in Microsoft Visual C++ versions 1.0 and 1.5 when you are compiling a C program for use with the Library Construction Kit (LCK):
Cannot find library LLIBCE.LIB
The Microsoft C/C++ compiler large memory model libraries are not installed. During installation of Microsoft C, you are prompted to install any or all of the memory models. The large memory model, however, is not the default.
To verify if this is the problem, check the LIB subdirectory in the Microsoft C/C++ or Microsoft Visual C++ directory for the file LLIBCE.LIB. If LLIBCE.LIB does not exist, you should reinstall, specifying the large memory model.
