SYMPTOMS

When you choose Application from the Run menu to run a program or application file, the corresponding DO command is not displayed in the Command window.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

In previous versions of FoxPro, the KEYBOARD command was used to echo the DO command in the Command window. However, the limitation of the command length in the KEYBOARD command can cause errors when you are running programs with extremely long pathnames.

In these previous versions, a "SET DEFAULT TO <pathname>" command was echoed to the Command window, followed by "DO <filename>" on the next line.
