In Microsoft Access version 2.0, you can use the DefaultEditing property to
prevent users from adding new records but still allow them to edit
existing records.
There is a new value for the DefaultEditing property in Microsoft Access
version 2.0 called "Can't Add Records." The following example demonstrates
how to use this value to prevent users from adding new records:
