ACC2: Property Sheet, Field List Not VisibleID: Q123585
|
Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.
When you open a form or report in Design view and view the property sheet,
you cannot see the property sheet even though the Properties button appears
sunken and the Properties command on the View menu is selected.
Note that the same behavior can also occur with the field list.
The property sheet is being displayed off the visible portion of the
screen. This can occur when you change from a higher screen resolution
(such as 1024 x 768) to a lower screen resolution (such as 800 x 600). A
property sheet at the far right of a 1024 x 768 screen will be off the
visible portion of an 800 x 600 screen.
NOTE: This can also occur if your Windows Desktop Granularity setting is
set too high, for example, > 5. This setting affects the movement of
these popup windows. If set too high and you try to slightly move one of
these windows, the window may be moved off the visible portion of the
screen. To determine the granularity setting, go to the Windows Control
Panel and open the Desktop icon. If the Granularity is set too high, try
changing it to 0.
Follow these steps to move the property sheet to the visible portion of the
screen:
This behavior does not occur when you are running Microsoft Access in Microsoft Windows NT.
For more information about the property sheet and field list, search for "properties: property sheet," and then "Displaying the Property Sheet, Toolbox, or Field List" using the Microsoft Access Help menu.
