The information in this article applies to:
GET objects created with the MS Sans Serif font that comes with Microsoft Windows operating system version 3.1 may not have the same spacing and appearance when the same code is run with Windows version 3.0.
The MS Sans Serif font is not available in Windows 3.0. Therefore, a bitmapped font is used as the MS Sans Serif replacement. As a result, for example, edit regions can overflow into push buttons on the screen.
NOTE: This problem is noticeable when RQBE is used to send output to a graph. The GraphWizard uses a sans serif font.
To work around this problem in Windows 3.0, rearrange the fonts in the [Fonts] section of the WIN.INI file so that the font you want Windows 3.0 to use instead of MS Sans Serif (for example, Helvetica) is the first font in the section.
NOTE: This is not a problem in Visual FoxPro for Windows because it requires Windows version 3.1 or later.
