PRB: PC Mouse Systems Mouse Available Only in Half of Screen

The information in this article applies to:

• Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, versions 1.02 and 2.0

SYMPTOMS

When you run FoxPro for MS-DOS on a system with a PC Mouse Systems optical mouse installed, the mouse is available only in the top half of the screen.

CAUSE

You have an old PC Mouse Systems mouse driver (dated earlier than December 13, 1989) installed.

RESOLUTION

Obtain and install an updated mouse driver from PC Mouse Systems.
