PRB: Product Mismatch Error Message in FoxBASE+ and FoxPro

The information in this article applies to:

• Microsoft FoxBASE+ for MS-DOS, version 2.10
• Microsoft FoxBASE+ for Macintosh, version 2.01
• Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, versions 1.02 and 2.0

SYMPTOMS

The "Product mismatch" error message indicates that you are using of one of the following:

• LAN product with single-user Activation Key, or vice versa

  -or-

• LAN product with the single-user Distribution Kit, or vice versa

RESOLUTION

The serial number and activation keys are different in the single-user versions and the LAN versions. The correct codes for each must be used; they are not interchangeable.
