ACC95: Analyze It w/Excel Fails to Transfer Only Selected FieldsID: Q141233
|
Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.
When you run Microsoft Access version 7.0 under Windows 95, the Analyze It
With MS Excel command transfers an entire table to Microsoft Excel instead
of only selected columns.
Create a query with only the selected fields, and then use the Analyze It With MS Excel command on the query results.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access version
7.0. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access version 7.0a.
For more information about the Analyze It With MS Excel command, search on the phrase "Analyze it with MS Excel," and then view "Load the output of a datasheet, form, or report into Microsoft Excel," using the Answer Wizard from the Microsoft Access for Windows 95 Help menu.
