When you set the BorderStyle property of a list box on a report to Transparent, parts of the list box border are still visible when you preview or print the report.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access 7.0. This problem no longer occurs in Microsoft Access 97.
1. Start Microsoft Access and open the sample database Northwind.mdb.
2. Create a new report not based on any table or query in Design view.
3. Add a list box control to the Detail section of the report.
4. On the View menu, click Properties.
5. Set the BorderStyle property of the list box to Transparent.
6. On the File menu, click Print Preview. Note that you can still see the
top and left borders around the list box.
