"Fatal Application" Error Message Starting Pocket Outlook

The information in this article applies to:

• Microsoft Pocket Outlook, version 2.0
• Microsoft Windows CE version 2.0 for the Handheld PC

SYMPTOMS

When you double-tap the Inbox icon to start Pocket Outlook, you may receive a "Fatal Application" error message, or the program may stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This problem can occur if you add more than 18 information services to Microsoft Pocket Outlook.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows CE version 2.0.
