Cannot Bypass or Cancel Calibration Tool in Welcome Program

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you run the Welcome program, the Calibration tool screen states: 

   Carefully press and briefly hold stylus on the center of the target.
   Repeat as the target moves around the screen. Press the ESC key to
   cancel.
If you press ESC to cancel the Calibration tool, the Welcome program returns you to the previous screen, where only the Press ENTER To Continue option is available. When you press ENTER, the Welcome program returns you to the Calibration tool screen.

If you complete the calibration process and then press ENTER, you receive the following message: 

   New calibration setting have been measured. Press the ENTER key to
   accept the new settings. Press the ESC key to keep the old settings.
If you press ESC, the Welcome program returns you to the previous screen, where only the Press ENTER To Continue option is available. When you press ENTER, the Welcome program returns you to the Calibration tool screen.

RESOLUTION

To proceed beyond the Calibration tool screen, you must complete the calibration process, press ENTER, and then press ENTER again.
