Cannot Edit Invalid Recurring Appointment

SUMMARY

When you create an invalid recurring appointment in Calendar, you cannot edit the appointment from the General tab after you receive the following message:

   The length of each appointment cannot be longer than the time between
   each occurrence of the appointment.

When you return to the General tab, the Starts and Ends boxes are replaced by the following message:

   Editing the recurrence options for this appointment.

MORE INFORMATION

You cannot edit the Starts and Ends dates until you select an appropriate recurrance option for the appointment on the Recur tab.
