When you delete an e-mail message from Pocket Outlook, you may receive the following error message:
One or more items could not be deleted. They may be service items that
can be permanently deleted only while you are connected to the service.
This behavior can occur for any of the following reasons:
To resolve this behavior, follow these steps:
1. Synchronize your Handheld PC (H/PC) to your desktop computer. To do so,
use the following steps:
a. Connect your H/PC to your desktop computer.
b. On your H/PC, tap Start, tap Programs, tap Communication, and then
tap ActiveSync.
c. Tap Sync Now, and then tap Disconnect.
d. Test to see if the behavior still occurs. If the behavior is not
resolved, continue to the next step.
2. Add an Internet Mail information service that has the same name you
used to receive the e-mail messages from your ISP. To do so, follow
these steps:
a. On the H/PC, double-tap Inbox.
b. On the Compose menu, tap Options.
c. On the Services tab, tap Add.
d. Tap Internet Mail, and then tap OK.
e. In the Enter A Unique Name box, type the same name you used to
receive the e-mail messages that do not open, and then tap OK.
f. Type the appropriate information in the Service Definition dialog
box, and then tap Next. If you do not know the appropriate
information, please contact your Internet service provider (ISP).
g. Configure the features you want in the General Preferences dialog
box, and then tap Next.
h. Configure the features you want in the Inbox Preferences dialog box,
and then tap Finish.
i. Tap OK.
