SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to change the option under Content For Offline Use in the Advanced Download Options dialog box for Active Channel subscriptions, the change may not take effect.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONA Channel Definition Format (CDF) file specifies the Content For Offline Use default option. The "Download all content specified by the channel's publisher" and "Download channel's Home Page and Table of Contents, if available" options are advanced download options for Active Channel subscriptions. For information about channels in Internet Explorer, click Contents And Index on the Help menu in Internet Explorer, click the Index tab, type "channels" (without quotation marks), and then click Display.
