When you load a Web page that contains a Java program in Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3.0 for Windows 95, the Java program may start another program in a new window. When you click the Close button in the upper right corner of the new window, the window may not close.
This behavior occurs when the Java program does not correctly implement the Close button on the new window.
To work around this problem, click the button on the new window that is intended to close the window. Programs that do not correctly implement the Close button on a new window typically implement another button that can be used to close the window.
In addition, you may want to contact the administrator of the Web site to report the problem. The Close button on the new window must be implemented correctly to function properly.
