 SYMPTOMS
When you connect to a mail server using Outlook Express without first
establishing a connection to the Internet, one of the following error
messages may be displayed:
 An error occurred while establishing the Dial-Up Networking connection
   "<name of connection>"
MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in Module KERNEL32.DLL at <address>
 RESOLUTION
To connect to your mail server using a modem, use one of the following
methods:
 
 Create a New Dial-Up ConnectionIn Outlook Express, click Accounts on the Tools menu, and then click
   the Mail tab.
Double-click the mail account you want to configure, and then click the
   Connection tab.
Click Connect Using My Phone Line.
Click Add, and then type a name for the new connection in the "Type a
   name for the computer you are dialing" box.
In the Select A Modem box, click the modem you want to use, and then
   click Next.
In the Area Code and Telephone Number boxes, type the area code and
   telephone number, click Next, and then click Finish.
   NOTE: If you need to customize the Transport Control Protocol/Internet
   Protocol (TCP/IP) settings for your Internet service provider (ISP),
   click Properties on the Connection tab, and then make the necessary
   changes.
Click OK, and then click Close.
 Use Internet Explorer or Third-Party DialerIn Outlook Express, click Accounts on the Tools menu, and then click
   the Mail tab.
Double-click the mail account you want to configure, and then click the
   Connection tab.
Click "Connect using Internet Explorer's or a 3rd party dialer."
Click OK, and then click Close.
