Navigating with a Mouse

To navigate in a virtual world using a mouse, follow these steps:

1. Click one of the navigation buttons (Walk, Slide, Tilt, or Spin) on

   the VRML Support toolbar.

2. Point to the virtual scene.

3. Click and hold down the left mouse button while moving the mouse

   pointer in the direction you want to go.

   NOTE: You can move toward a specific object by double-clicking the
   object.

4. Repeat the steps above as needed.

To navigate in a virtual world using the keyboard, follow these steps:

To navigate in a virtual world using a joystick, follow these steps:

1. Click inside the virtual scene using the left mouse button.

2. Move the joystick in the direction you want to go. To tilt, press and

   hold down the SHIFT key while moving the joystick. To slide, press and
   hold down the CTRL key while moving the joystick.

If your joystick has a point of view (POV) hat, you can use the POV hat as a slide control. To slide up or down, move the POV hat forward or backward. To slide sideways, move the POV hat to the left or right.
