If you install Internet Explorer 4.0 and then restore a Windows 95 registry that was created before you installed Internet Explorer 4.0, or use a Windows NT Emergency Repair Disk (ERD) that was created before you installed Internet Explorer 4.0, you may be unable to start Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0, or Internet Explorer 4.0.
This problem occurs when you restore an older Windows 95 registry or you use an older ERD before you uninstall Internet Explorer 4.0.
