View Button Not Selected in the Fonts Folder

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you view the Fonts folder after you install Internet Explorer with the Windows Desktop Update, the button on the toolbar corresponding to the current view is not selected.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Explorer versions 4.0 and 4.01 for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

Although no button is selected, the contents of the Fonts folder are displayed. To change the current view, click the appropriate button on the toolbar. This behavior does not affect the functionality of the product.
