When you view a Web page in Internet Explorer 2.0 for Macintosh, you may receive a message that states "an error has occurred." Internet Explorer may then quit with the following error message:
The application "unknown" has unexpectedly quit because an error of
type 1 occurred.
If you try to start Internet Explorer again, your computer stops
responding (hangs).
The error messages stated above occur when a reference is made to an online resource that is located on a Web server that is down or otherwise unavailable.
This problem affects only 68K (computers based on the 68000 series of processors) Macintosh computers.
To work around this problem, leave the initial error message on the screen until the background audio begins playing and then click OK.
