The information in this article applies to:
When you import messages from or export messages to Microsoft Exchange, you can select only the folders in the default message store of the current Microsoft Exchange profile.
Internet Mail can use only the folders in the set of Personal Folders you have selected for mail delivery in Microsoft Exchange.
To import from or export to another set of Personal Folders, change the set of Personal Folders used for mail delivery in Microsoft Exchange. This can be done on a temporary basis; you do not have to maintain this setting. To change this setting, follow these steps:
1. In Microsoft Exchange, click Options on the Tools menu.
2. Click the Delivery tab.
3. In the "Deliver new mail to the following location" box, click the set
of Personal Folders you want to import from or export to.
4. Click Apply.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Mail version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
The current set of Personal Folders is the set of folders containing the Inbox to which your incoming mail is delivered. The set of folders is the default set, and is the set used by Internet Mail.
