Norton AntiVirus Incorrectly Detects Virus in VRML Add-In

SYMPTOMS

If you are running Norton AntiVirus for Windows 95 and you attempt to install the Microsoft Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) Add-In for Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0, you may receive a message stating that the file is infected with the Anticad 2224 virus.

CAUSE

Norton AntiVirus incorrectly detects that the file contains a virus.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, update the Norton AntiVirus virus definition set on your computer. According to Symantec, the updated virus definition set is available from all normal Symantec distribution points, including their Internet Web site. Symantec's Web site is located at:
