SUMMARY

In addition to the functionality supported by all platforms, the versions of Internet Explorer 4.0 for the 32-bit Windows platforms (Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT) support additional premium functionality, including the following:

  • Multimedia controls
  • Dynamic HTML - Extended Dynamic Content: the TextRange, Table Object Model, and associated methods.
  • Data Binding - Remote Data Service
  • XML parser ActiveX control
  • Channels: page hit logging
  • Channels: display as screen saver
  • Channels: display as desktop component

In the future, support for the above features may be added to additional platforms based on customer demand.
