MORE INFORMATION

Once you remove the BETA version of Internet Information Server a dialog box appears with "Microsoft Internet Information server 1.0 updated successfully". However, the message does not inform you to reboot the server. 1. Run "Internet Information Server Setup".

  2. At the first "Internet Information Server Setup" screen, click OK.

  3. At the second "Internet Information Server Setup" screen, click Remove All.

  4. Follow the instructions and remove all the components of Internet Information Server.

  5. When the "Microsoft Internet Information server 1.0 updated successfully" message appears, click OK.

You have successfully removed the BETA version of Internet Information Server.

  6. Reboot the Windows NT server and run SETUP.EXE from the Internet Information Server release version compact disc.

  7. Follow the instructions and proceed with the installation.
